Strum your instrument with guitar greats:

Guitar Mash is a play-along concert featuring eight guitar virtuosos including Robert Randolph, David Bromberg, Scott Sharrard, and Valerie June. Audience members are encouraged to bring their guitars and jam along with the house band to Elvis Presley’s "Hound Dog" and "Higher Ground" by Stevie Wonder. The chords and lyrics will be projected and you can download charts with the music in advance. While prior practice isn't necessary, an advance free workshop is available at the Church Street School for Music + Art on Wednesday from 6–8 pm. The event includes brunch and a silent auction.

This is a benefit event for Guitar Mash, a non-profit that aims to "return music to its social, participatory roots, where everyone can dive into the shared experience via one instrument that rewards the player nearly instantly."
